Late last night Paramount Pictures dropped the first trailer for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. In a strange twist, the J.J. Abrams written and produced actioner see Ethan Hunt and his covert team on the run — getting pinned for the bombing of the Kremlin and being labelled terrorists by their own government. They’re mission, should they accept it (which I’m going to assume they do), is to travel the world to kick ass and take names in the name of bringing to justice the real perpetrators. The trailer has some sick stunts and effects that’ll really get the blood flowing — check them out below.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway, Léa Seydoux and Michael Nyqvist.
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol sneaks into US theaters on December 16, 2011 and UK theaters on December 26, 2011.
