Move Trailer: Ted 2 (2015)

Although they got back together at the end of “Ted,” John (Mark Wahlberg) and longtime girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis), are not getting married in the follow-up to the raunchy hit, Ted 2. As a matter of fact, Lori doesn’t even make an appearance in this trailer (probably got hit by a bus or something equally painful) that has the filthy-mouthed teddy bear getting married to his equally crude girlfriend, Tami-Lynn, and fighting for his rights to adopt a baby. With Amanda Seyfried as an attorney helping to litigate the case, it doesn’t seem like John is missing Lori anyway. As expected, the antics get cringeworthy fast. There’s also some hearty laughs in there too. Although this isn’t redband, watch the embedded trailer courtesy of Universal Pictures with care.

Ted 2 stars Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, Seth MacFarlane (voice), Jessica Barth, Michael Dorn and Sam J. Jones.

The heart of this’ll be missing with Kunis out of the pic but that’ll leave more room for MacFarlane’s lowbrow crudity. Whetther that’s good or not remains to be seen.

Ted had just the right amount of Tami-Lynn. I’m not sure giving her more spotlight in Ted2 is a good move to make. Her shtick will get tiresome quickly.

MacFarlane should have left it at one and done. Lightning doesn’t strike twice.
