Someone poke my smurfing eyes out. Please. That’s really all I have to say after watching the, putting it nicely, lackluster full trailer for Sony Pictures Animation’s The Smurfs 2. In it Gargamel, now a famous magician in Paris, conjures up two “Naughties” to corrupt the wholesome Smurfette in an effort to get back home. Why is anybodies guess but all voice talent has returned as well as Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays as The Smurfs human friends. The trailer, for what may be the worst animated film of 2013, is embedded below. Watch at your own risk.

this is laugh out loud bad and I like the Smurfs
How very unusual that a film so confused about its target audience found such a large one nevertheless..
I’m waiting for the next Smurfs.
