The second trailer for the upcoming remake of Total Recall has come online. It rehashes what we already know — Quaid (Farrell), a man who has a lingering feeling there is something more to his life, goes to a memory-implanting service and finds that it is actually the life he has been leading that has been the implant. This glimpse offers up a few more action shots too — Ms. Beckinsale, who plays Farrell’s wife, gets in, and takes, a few good shots herself (can you say catfight with Jessica Biel?). Like I said when the first trailer released back in April, “I was perfectly happy with the original, but I like this remake more and more.” It could probably have used an R-rating though . . .

Total Recall escapes to US theaters on August 3, 2012 and UK theaters on August 22, 2012.
