Movie Trailer: Justice League (2017)

DC is making a splash at Comic-Con this year dropping a “Wonder Woman” tease as well as quick look at Justice League. This particular tease is light on the plot, but it does do a good job introducing most of the new heroes that will comprise the superhero squad. I say most of because Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) get most of the screen time and poor Cyborg (Ray Fisher) doesn’t get his. Nonetheless, there’s a fair amount of intrigue and a bit of humor as Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) seek the team to face off against yet unknown villains and calamities. Check out what Comic-Con attendees caught a glimpse of courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jared Leto, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and Amber Heard.

Official Synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League comes together in US and UK theaters on November 17, 2017.

It always come down to this. /s
Seriously though, this trailer is pieced together from early footage, they probably didn’t film the Cyborg encounter yet.

Good vibe. Purposely showing the tone isn’t as dark as BvS by getting some humor in is a smart idea. It’s the Marvel way.

I’ve no faith in DC to make a coherent movie.

Not sure what to really make of this. It’s dull by anyone’s standards…not a way to make a grand entrance if you ask me.

So they’ve made Flash into a Quicksilver clone? Gawd the level of Marvel copying is sickening.

DC has shown they can make a good trailer but fuck up a final movie and with Snyder directing again they most assuredly will fuck this up in the end.

At least the Wonder Woman trailer came to the table with something to show. This is a whole lot of meh.

I don’t know how it’ll turn out but the inner kid me in me is just so dang happy to have Avengers and Justice League and X-Men and Fantastic Four and Suicide Squad and every other standalone superhero in blockbuster movies.

This is the one where they get it right. *fingers crossed*

It needs more forced humour. DC goes from suicidally serious in one film to lighthearted laughs in the next. I don’t think DC/Warner Bros. know what they’re doing with their universe. At All.

The trailer, if that what this is supposed to be, means nothing. People should stop relying on them because they never resemble the final result.

I’m a purist and won’t be satisfied until I get Martian Manhunter.

I like Cyborg, but I’d be happier if they gave us the “The Big Seven.” Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter are the originals and there’s no good reason I’m aware of for it to change.
