I suppose it could be said that is was only a matter of time before Todd Phillips was going to set his “crude,” alcohol-fueled partying mind on teenaged subjects. He is, after all, the man behind such movies as “Old School” and “The Hangover” (which, if you recall, depicted grown-ups acting like drunken adolescents). Project X, follows three high schoolers looking to break out of their obscure existence for at least one day. When the party they throw gets out of hand (that’s putting it lightly) they can only wish to have their quiet lives back. Sure the movie uses the lowest form of debauchery to derive its humor, but I’ve got to admit I found myself laughing out loud. See the trailer below and try not to laugh.
