Movie Trailer: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Action and effects are aplenty in the latest trailer for the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (as expected). Also included, however, is some of the silliness and curiosity of the four reptilian brothers named after famed artists, Raphael, Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo, that the Eastman & Laird comics stressed above all else. Whether this spirit will be prevalent throughout the film is still an unknown, but hopefully it will be enough to get audiences past the “creepy” looks of the sewer dwelling heroes — giving them too lifelike of an appearance may turn some off (of course the addition of Megan Fox as the damsel in distress should turn plenty on too). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Whoopi Goldberg and employs the voice talents of Johnny Knoxville, Alan Ritchson, Tony Shalhoub, Jeremy Howard, Danny Woodburn and Noel Fisher.

 

 

Official Synopsis:
Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder (William Fichtner) and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April (Megan Fox) and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
