Movie Trailer #3: Anchorman: The Legend Continues (2013)

Today Paramount Pictures put out another full length trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues and I laughed. Out loud. And that is something that rarely happens. It continues the misguided adventures of Ron Burgandy and his gang as they make their way to the Big Apple and bigger audiences. Fittingly, along the way they’ll have to adjust to the ever changing world — a black woman boss (Meagan Good), homosexuals in the workplace and . . . technology. In one the funnier teases of what’s to come, everyone’s favorite retard, Brick Tamland, freaks out in front of a green screen. There is still a lot to expect not shown in the trailer below, mostly how the veritable who’s who of stars lined up for cameos will make their appearances (one can only hope for another battle royale, with pitchforks). Check it and the previous trailers out now!

You can check out the first trailer here: Anchorman: The Legend Continues Trailer #1 and the teasers here: Anchorman: The Legend Continues Teasers.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues stars Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, James Marsden, Kristen Wiig, Christina Applegate and Luke Wilson.

With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) — All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy… while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

I’ve already had my fill. Too much Ron Burgandy is not a good thing.

Maybe Will Ferrell is back in bis. I haven’t much liked his other movies.

This is the quintessential Will Ferrell role.

They all look so old. Christina Applegate is especially looking haggard. Is she sick again?

    “….everyone’s favorite retard, Brick Tamland….”

Looks like you can use some sensitivity training too.

This will be the only Anchorman trailer I’m going to watch. It’s done enough to get me wanting to see it.

I’m optimistic but sequels usually disappoint.
