I was holding out on this list until I saw Star Wars: The Clone Wars as I was thinking that perhaps something said would strike me as memorable. Nothing did.
Criteria: Quote can come from any of the Star Wars installments.
10
“Anakin, you’re breaking my heart! And you’re going down a path I cannot follow!”
Padme to Anakin Skywalker — Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
9
“Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Yoda holds you in such high esteem. Surely you can do better!”
Count Dooku to Obi-Wan Kenobi — Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
8
“You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. You were to bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi to Anakin Skywalker — Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
7
“At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.”
Darth Maul to Darth Sidious — Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace
6
“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate… leads to suffering.”
Yoda to Luke Skywalker — Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back
5
“I’ve been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master.”
Darth Vadar to Obi-Wan Kenobi — Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
4
“Great, kid. Don’t get cocky.”
Han Solo to Luke Skywalker — Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
3
“Now, young Skywalker… you will die.”
The Emporer to Luke Skywalker — Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
2
“I find your lack of faith disturbing.”
Darth Vadar to Admiral Motti — Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
1
“The Force is strong with you. A powerful Sith you will become. Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth… Vader.”
Darth Sidious to Anakin Skywalker — Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Great post! I had the joy of exposing my boyfriend’s two kids to the original Star Wars just on Mon. It is great that these movies continue to be loved by the next generation that comes along.
Darth Vader’s quote is actually “No. I am your father.” Either way it is a good quote — I suppose I’ve heard it so much that I’ve become desensitized to it.
hair irons,
Agreed.
Evann,
Thanks.
A Star Wars Fan,
The original three Star Wars films just have had more time to sink into your collective thoughts…
I can’t figure out why people put so much credence in the Star Wars mythos. There is nothing memorable about the quotes. There are no hidden meanings.
It’s a movie boys and girls, not the Bible. Get on with your lives already.
You’ve arrived in time to read the most poignant movie reviews ever written, penned by the most acclaimed film critics the world has yet to discover.
You’ll realize quickly that we're nothing like the myriad of review sites you’ve visited before. We’re not bedfellows of the Hollywood machine, so our movie reviews are straight-forward and brutally honest. If a movie is terrible, we'll scold it; if a movie is great, we’ll praise it. Direct and impartial – the way movie reviews are meant to be.
And while we’d love to think our opinions are above reproach, we know that is simply not the case. If you don't agree with something we've said, by all means speak your mind. You’ve got an opinion and we’d love to hear it – good or bad.

I always smile at:
Luke: “I’m Luke Skywalker. I’m here to rescue you.”
Princess Leia: “You’re who?”

Where is the most memeorable of all:
“Luke, I am your father.”
Any Star Wars list is incomplete without it.

This is one of the better Star Wars lists I’ve taken the time to read. Good job not rehashing the same “May the Force be with you” type quotes.

Sorry to say - half of your list is fouled. Only the original 3 Star Wars films have anything worth quoting!
