Santa Claus brings more than gifts to kids during Christmas. The Easter Bunny offers up more than jelly beans and eggs at Easter. The Tooth Fairy does more than swap teeth for cash. They, among others (Sandman, Jack Frost), are the immortal Guardians whose purpose is to the protect the beliefs and imaginations of the children who believe in them. Based on the book by William Joyce, DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians chronicles the banding together of the Guardians to fight the evil spirit, Pitch, who aims to steal all the worlds’ children from them. Slated for a November release, this looks like it will fill the belly of the holiday throngs nicely. I think you’ll agree after watching the trailer below.
Rise of the Guardians employs the voice talents of Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Jude Law and Isla Fisher.
Rise of the Guardians protects US theaters on November 21, 2012 and UK theaters on November 30, 2012.

I’m not usually a fan of animation films, but this one rally looked good in my eyes. Think I will go watch it on cinema.
This is a stinker if ever I’ve smelled one. Just like HOP was.
I think the kids will enjoy seeing their holiday heroes battling a baddie.
Looks kinda cool, but the animation looks circa 1990s…a retool of the animation is long overdue…
DreamWorks Animation needs a new Shrek. This ain’t it.
