When you do a seemingly impossible task, you can expect more near impossible jobs to come your way (hence the reason I don’t exert myself). Having cleared a block of one ruthless drug kingpin in “The Raid Redemption,” officer Rama (Iko Uwais) is now asked to take them all down. He’ll go deep undercover to get close to his marks and then do whatever is necessary to bring them down. As can be seen in this latest trailer released by Sony Pictures for The Raid 2: Berandal it’s going to get very bloody and a lot of people are going to die. The tension and action is at an all time high so it’s easy to get excited to want to see it. Folks at Sundance are getting an early peak at it today; the rest of us will have to make due with the trailer above. So watch it!

I’ll bet the stunt doubles got paid well this time.

There is plenty space available for him. Van Damme hasn’t any though.

Even though I loved the martial arts in Redemption, it got repetitive fast since the story was lacking. From this trailer it looks like Gareth Evans spent more time on the story WHILE he dreamt up crazier fights.

This is how an action movie should look like.

It supposedly had an outstanding reception at Sundance. Alex Billington @ Firstshowing gushed about it.
