The appetite for driving fast in movies will never be satisfied. “Drive Angry 3D” and “Transporter 3” are two recenter(?) movies with a theme that is conducive to lots of car chases and crashes. FilmDistrict, at Comic-Con, unveiled a trailer for their entrant into the genre: Drive. Basically, they replaced a man who delivers things no questions asked with a stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver no questions asked. Then added some drama via the driver getting attached to a family marked for death. Looks entertaining enough — check it out now.
Drive stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman, Oscar Isaac and Albert Brooks.
Drive races into US theaters on September 16, 2011 and UK theaters on September 23, 2011.
