Fart scenes are funny. They’re even funnier when a good case of the Hershey Squirts are added in for good measure. So, while spending the better part of the day atop the porcelain throne, I starting listing the funnier movie moments that captured the hilarity of moving one’s bowels (my top 10 fart list will be forthcoming.)
Criteria: There’s got to be shitting and it’s got to be funny.
| 10 | The first of the Wayans brothers entries. The setup: A black guy posing as white girl eats some dairy when dairy products are a no-no. You know what happens next. What makes the scene funny is how in stride his/her socialite friends take the stall disturbance. |
| 9 |  Nothing is worse than trying to have a conversation with someone taking a crap. Ice Cube has to suck it up and take a verbal lashing while his father does his business. At least his dad is thoughtful enough to have a can of air deodorizer on hand. |
| 8 | Nothing is worse than having a phobia of public bathrooms and finding yourself having to use one. Finch, of course, finds himself in this exact situation. Adding to his misery is he’s in the girl’s bathroom with a terrible case of the runs. |
| 7 | Three dorks spy on a pretty girl sitting on the commode. But when she starts letting a few rip, all hell breaks out. The ending is especially good; take a look at how much spills out of the bowl — this girl really had to go! |
| 6 | This scene proves you can make a game out of most any situation. Two cute girls decide to play a game called “Battle Shits” as they pass the time on crapper — much to the horror of Harold and Kumar. |
| 5 | Training an animal to use the crapper is a commendable feat. This cat, however, takes it to whole new level. |
| 4 | Another Wayans brothers entry. The fact that James Woods is the one involved makes it all the funnier. He completely sells it like a serious scene. |
| 3 | This is the case of a total asshole, literally getting what is due to him. After getting a healthy laxative dosing, Daniel Cosgrove, finds the only available place to defecate is in a trash can — in front of some very rich and powerful people. |
| 2 | Another Wayans brothers entry (albeit to a much lesser extent). It’s hard to not laugh when one of the hottest women around, Carmen Electra, lets loose. Unbeknownst to her, she’s doing her deed in front of a packed house and looking great doing it! |
| 1 | The best all around messy crap scene. Jeff Daniels explodes in the bathroom after his pal, Jim Carrey, spikes his drink with a laxative. Great sounds, and even greater facial expressions! |

I never saw it. Probably because it starred Freddie Prinze Jr.
Trainspotting was more bizarre than funny. I saw Along Came Polly but I don’t recall a crapper scene.

How could you forget Kingpin, with Randy Quaid taking a dump in a standup urinal. His charcter being Amish, doesn’t know any better. Great scene and a great movie!

Can anyone tell me what movie (maybe a t.v. program) has a scene where the boyfriend and girlfriend have snuck into her parents’ basement to have sex for the first time… They’re in front of a fireplace. Her dad decides to come downstairs for some reason, so the boyfriend hides in the dryer. I think the boyfriend has a nervous stomach or IBS or something ’cause he poops in the dryer. I think the dad hears him in the laundry room and the kid comes out with a stocking on his head and runs off down the street, naked I think.

Video entitled “covered in shit” (with the description of “girl waste shower” or something like that) was removed from YouTube some time ago. Video was about a girl who washed her hands in a sink and noticed something thick moving in pipe (first upward, then horizontally under the ceiling). Next, the pipe burst and the girl was being covered with feces, and then she noticed a shower and washed herself.
More accurate description (I may be wrong in detail):
- At the beginning girl is shown washing her hands in washbasin
- The girl was wearing a sleeveless blouse
- She starts to look up
- Something thick went up in pipe, and then horizontally at the ceiling (this was stretching pipe)
- Girl is moving back looking at it in the pipe
- Suddenly, pipe bursts and she is being covered with feces
- She notices a shower and approach it
- She turns on the shower carefully, looking at the ceiling
- Delighted girl washed herself in the shower taking off her blouse

No matter how old I get, no matter how sophisticated I think I am, fart and poop jokes always make me laugh! I think sometimes they go on a bit too long (heehee) and they’re funnier if people don’t try to get too much laughter out of it but it’s still funny. Harold and Kumar one especially, because I bet there’s nothing worse than a gorgeous girl (or two) letting rip with you there to hear.
