Movie Trailer: Contraband (2012)

Guy is a criminal. Guys cleans up his act, goes legit and starts a family. Guys gets pulled back in because someone in his family screwed up. Guy wages war on perps when things go sour. We’ve seen the premise many times before so there isn’t much to get excited about for Universal Pictures’ Contraband. The trailer, below, has all the mainstays of the genre, so hopefully Wahlberg and Beckinsale can spice things up to make this a must see thriller.

Contraband stars Mark Wahlberg, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, J.K. Simmons, Caleb Landry Jones, Diego Luna and Lukas Haas.

Contraband smuggles into US theaters on Jaunary 13, 2012 and UK theaters on March 16, 2012.
