Inspired in parts by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic novel “The Lost World,” the upcoming The Dinosaur Project chronicles what happens when six explorers run into dinosaurs deep in the remote jungles of the Congo. Seeing as it is told from a “Clovefield” lost footage perspective, I’m guessing the adventurers — which incredibly includes a few teenagers — don’t do a good job of not becoming food for the carnivores. The trailer feels a bit like a rehash of “Jurassic Park” to me, so I’ll hold my enthusiasm in check for now.
The Dinosaur Project stars Natasha Loring, Peter Brooke, Richard Dillane, Stephen Jennings and Matt Kane.
The Dinosaur Project preys upon UK theaters on August 12, 2012.

“Found footage” movies are for the lazy filmmakers of the world.

Kinda scary when you stop and think about how low on the food chain humans would be if dinosaurs still roamed the earth.

Looks like they reused dinosaur models from Jurassic Park!

What is the project? Trying to stay alive?
