Movie Trailer: Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015)

What occurred in “The Maze Runner” was just Phase 1. In its follow-up, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Phase 2 is the agenda and it promises to be more challenging than anything the Gladers have dealt with before. It also promises to deliver more for viewers too as the world expands and new players (and their agendas) are introduced. Realizing more tests and trials await them at the hands of WCKD, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow survivors escape to what is now known as The Scorch — the barren wasteland beyond the walls. With only their wits and will to guide them to their destination, they must survive the cruel elements, the forces of WCKD and, most importantly, themselves. Catch a peek of what’s in store for the young escapees in the embedded trailer courtesy of 20th Century Fox.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Katherine McNamara, Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Aidan Gillen, Giancarlo Esposito, Patricia Clarkson and Kaya Scodelario.

These teenage end of civilization flicks bore me. Time for something new Hollywood.

I enjoyed the first film enough to see this sequel.

First movie was entertaining enough but it didn’t do a good job at explaining the underlying premise. Hopefully the sequel will connect the dots better.
