It’s tough being the new kid at school especially when you have the social skills of a mudskipper. All it takes to make things better is to connect with one person who gets it, though. Finding two is even better. In Summit Entertainment’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Charlie is lucky enough to learn hope, love, loss and friendship when he is accepted into Patrick’s and Sam’s circle. The movie is based on the controversial book of the same name by Stephen Chbosky (he adapted and directed too), and judging by its trailer, it looks to hit all the emotional notes.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower stars Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd, Mae Whitman, Melanie Lynskey, Kate Walsh and Dylan McDermott.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower grows up in US theaters on September 21, 2012 and UK theaters on October 3, 2012.
