I suppose if you thought the “hanging on the outside of an airplane” trick was pretty cool, then you may find some more cool stuff in this second trailer for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. It starts with a water stunt that looks even more difficult to pull off properly as stud agent Ethan Hunt must make his way through 70,000 gallons of pressured water without oxygen. There’s more motorcycle/car chases that end in crashes/explosions, a few more fights and a lot more dark humor to keep the mood light and airy. Laughter, they say is a great coping mechanism, especially when a highly-skilled anti-IMF organization has been hired to take out Hunt’s team. Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing Alec Baldwin get his hands dirty as he, based on initial impressions, is the man behind the dissolution of the IMF. Cruise versus Baldwin. Think about it. Check it, and more, out in the latest trailer courtesy of Paramount Pictures while you contemplate the thought.

I’m convinced Cruise makes the MI films just so he can do the stunts.

As good as the action looks it’s Simon Pegg with his wry humor at all the wrong times that I’m looking forward to.

I’d rather hang from a plane than get sucked into a whirlpool. The concept of drowning freaks me out.

No, the stunts get better with each installment. The story seems to be stuck on some organization wanting everyone in IMF dead and buried.

What are they thinking giving away two big stunt sequences in the trailer..
