Tonto speaks! And he sounds a lot like Johnny Depp . . . In the new full trailer for Disney’s western actioner The Lone Ranger, Tonto plays a more prominent role, even uttering the iconic “kemosabe” several times. This trailer, which is embedded above, explains in detail how the Lone Ranger was born (murdered family; back from the dead; spirit of an undying warrior) and how Tonto came to be his right-hand man (his tribe decimated). Oh yeah, there are a few explosions and an impressive setup for kick-ass sequence on a runaway train. This big-screen adaption is looking better and better . . .

I’ll get my western fix from a real western: Django Unchained.

Same action performed by different characters. The Lone Ranger is a Western Icon and desrves a bit more care in his handling.
