Movie Trailer #2: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)

This is it. What is being touted as the final trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has been made available by Warner Bros. Pictures. Increasingly darker than its predecessors, the story culminates with the final battle between good and evil, between Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter. I’ll say it again (said so when the first trailer posted) — judging from this trailer, which gave me those bittersweet goosebumps you get from anticipating something, this final installment looks to be fitting ending to what may be the best film adaptation of a book series . . . ever. I’ll also go out on a limb and guess Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will see the biggest opening weekend in cinematic history. Wagers?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman.

    I’ll wager $50 it doesn’t beat The Dark Knight’s weekend record of $158,411,483. :D

I’m betting Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon beats out even the Boy Magician when it comes out. Despite the horror of Revenge of the Fallen, the alien robots have too big a following. That said, Harry Potter is the one I actually really look forward to taking the nephews….

Looks like you’ll be eating the terms of that bet lol – too bad we didn’t shake on it Christina. Transformers is the worst movie out…

Just caught Harry Potter’s latest – and last, if the media is to be believed. An absolutely gorgeous movie; my son was fully dialed in unlike with Dark of the Moon where he fell asleep.
