Something is very wrong with Emily, the lead protagonist/antagonist in Steven Soderbergh’s new thriller Side Effects. What it is, we’re not quite sure of yet, but it has something to do with an experimental drug, a convicted husband, sneaky corporate execs and murder. Tying these facets together is a screenplay by Scott Burns and an impressive cast (yes, even Channing Tatum deserves a pat on the back now and again). The trailer released today by Open Road Films is a good tease of what’s to come. Check it out.
Side Effects stars Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Costabile and Vinessa Shaw.
Side Effects confounds US theaters on February 8, 2013 and UK theaters on March 15, 2013.

Wonder if Rooney will partcipate in any tattooing assaults. Jude Law would be the perfect candidate.
