From Universal Studios and Illumination Entertainment (Hop, Despicable Me) and the flighty imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the timely tale of The Lorax. Timely in such that it is about the loss of environment at the hands of corporate greed. In it a boy, Ted, seeks out the wispy and colorful Truffula Tree to win the heart of his neighbor and dream girl, Audrey. His adventure will lead him to the The Once-ler and The Lorax and will ultimately change his understanding of the world around him.
The Lorax employs the voice talents of Zac Efron, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Taylor Swift, Rob Riggle and Betty White.
The Lorax enlightens US theaters on March 2, 2012 and UK theaters on July 27, 2012.

I’m a bit fearful of the possible environmental and political messages this could be loaded with.

The Lorax is an absolutely great movie. My wife and I took our 4 an 8 year olds to the movie. They loved it and we loved it. Virtually every kid in our elementary school saw it over the weekend! I have told my co workers to take their kids! I will urge my 80 yr. Old mother to go as well. If you like the world we live on, go see this movie. I subscribe to the NYT, but their review of the movie is completely wrong in every way!
