Movie Trailer #2: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)

In previous looks for Marvel Studio’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Electro had been getting all the attention. But in the latest (and final) trailer, Green Goblin and Rhino are making a bigger impact. It’s quite the refreshing impact too as Spidey, in several extended scenes, is locked in frantic battles with them (I was also tiring of Jamie Foxx). Along with the pulse-pounding action, there remain plenty of questions yet too that absolutely need an answer: What further secrets does Peter’s past hold? Will Gwen Stacy die? Can we expect the rise of the Sinister Six or some form of them? Yes, if you couldn’t tell, this is definitely a movie I’m excited for. Watch!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Denis Leary, Sally Field, Chris Cooper and Dane DeHaan.

Official Synopsis:
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: Only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 webslings into US theaters on May 2, 2014 and UK theaters on April 18, 2014.

Pete Parker is too cocky in these reboots. I remember him being more introverted, never being fully comfortable with his powers. His new found flaunting is not an admirable quality.

This looks AMAZING! CGI looks great, Green Goblin looks sick and I even like the Rhino tease at the end.

Super hyped for this. Spiderman is the best hero for us all.

Raimi ran into many of his problems because Spiderman-3 shoehorned in 3 villains. With Green Goblin, Electro and Rhino in the mix Webb may run into the same problems. More flash is not always a thing of glory.

Me, I want Gwen Stacy gone. I’m a Mary Jane guy. It is time for her to make an entrance.
