Movie Review: Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005)

Let’s see, “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” was a mildly funny movie. So I expected Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo to be a rehash of the first . . . same type of jokes, same premise, etc. Guess what? I was right.

Plain and simple Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo just isn’t that funny this time around. The man-whore, mangina, he-bitch talk gets old quick. It’s basically all T. J. Hicks (played by Eddie Griffin) says. And the women Deuce meets are the same tough luck type of crowd he met in the first film. Instead of a girl with a fake leg, a woman who curses all the time or a big fat black lady, Deuce hooks up with a chick with a dick for a nose, a broad with a tracheotomy and some filthy bitch. How original!

There are however maybe two or three parts of Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo that are funny. Norm Macdonald plays a crazy Scottish gigolo who says some funny shit (if you can understand him!). Every once in a while Eddie Griffin is given a funny line to say too. It’s rare, but it does happen. Lastly, Deuce’s love interest is easy on the eyes. I mistook her for Heidi Klum . . .

So to make a long story short, see the original. The jokes are so much fresher and you’ll laugh a whole lot more.

I'm an old, miserable fart set in his ways. Some of the things that bring a smile to my face are (in no particular order): Teenage back acne, the rain on my face, long walks on the beach and redneck women named Francis. Oh yeah, I like to watch and criticize movies.

If you’re one who can laugh at silly and stupid things, then bless your heart for not taking life too seriously all the time. This movie is for you! Don’t expect it to be more than what it was meant to be, a mindless slapstick to jiggle the soul and make you forget the harsh realities of life for a while. Rob Schneider is a natural queer and it’s always a hoot to watch him.
I can honestly say this was the worst movie I have ever seen. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen movies that were dumber then this, but those movies didn’t really take themselves seriously and were funny by accident. Bigalow is just one walking nightmare that could have been funny if it had been toned down and had some direction. But instead it limps on for an hour and a half from one perverted gag to the next.
To keep this review short, this movie sucked ass and made me lose my appetite (xtra buttered popcorn).
    I rate this movie D.

The worst movie you have ever seen? What about D.E.B.S? How about The Dukes Of Hazzard? Surely those movies were worse!

D.E.B.S had some class A chicks with hot bods, The Dukes of Hazzard had Jessica Simpson flaunting her ample bosom and some grade A legs. Hence those movies had some meaning to watching it.
Deuce B had none worthy of mention.

Interesting. Unfortunately, even with a couple of ‘class A chicks with hot bods’, D.E.B.S. was utter sh*t. Nothing could have saved that movie. Same can be said about The Dukes of Hazzard. If you want hot chicks who can’t act in a movie without a plot, rent a porno.
Moral of story: Hot chicks don’t make movies good.
