Whether you like him or not, Lars von Trier certainly knows how to push the boundaries of what many consider bad taste. And just by looking at the title of his latest effort, Nymphomaniac, audiences should quickly realize he has no plans of slowing down. Reuniting with the controversial director is Charlotte Gainsbourg (“Antichrist“) in another role that puts herself fully out there. This time she is Joe, a sex addict who, after a beating and being left for dead, recounts her life and the many sexual escapades she’s been a part of. Further explanations aren’t necessary, just be careful where you view the trailer as it is quite explicit thanks to the frankness of Gainsbourg and first-time actress, Stacy Martin, who reenacts the youthful scenes.
Nymphomaniac stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, Uma Thurman, Stacy Martin and Christian Slater.
Official Synopsis:
Nymphomaniac is the wild and poetic story of a woman’s erotic journey from birth to the age of 50 as told by the main character, the self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, Joe. On a cold winter’s evening the old, charming bachelor, Seligman, finds Joe beaten up in an alleyway. He brings her home to his flat where he tends to her wounds while asking her about her life. He listens intently as Joe over the next 8 chapters recounts the lushly branched-out and multi faceted story of her life, rich in associations and interjecting incidents.
Nymphomaniac sexes up US theaters on March 21, 2014 and UK theaters on February 22, 2014.

Youtube removed it due to its graphic nature. I’ll get a new trailer uploaded when I return from holiday.
