An updated trailer has been released for The Debt by Focus Features today. Spanning two time periods, the John Madden-directed drama revolves around three Mossad secret agents and what they did in 1966 (targeting a Nazi war criminal) and how those actions affected them today. If the embedded trailer is any indication, The Debt looks to harbor a great deal of thrills and suspense.
The Debt stars Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington, Jessica Chastain, Jesper Christensen, Marton Csokas, Ciaran Hinds and Tom Wilkinson.
The Debt arrives in US theaters on August 31, 2011 and UK theaters on September 30, 2011.

Seems like an interesting plot but I am always skeptical of what trailers show me. Seeing Helen Mirren, in her mid 60s, get a sort of rebirth in Hollywood is refreshing though.

Helen Mirren is sexy. And this film looks terrific. Can’t wait to check it out in theatres! Here’s the Canadian trailer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tfDTCVh7Qk&feature=channel_video_title
