Movie Trailer: Jason Bourne (2016)

The Bourne Legacy” wasn’t that bad (and it is getting a purported sequel), but it’s still a welcomed breathe of fresh air to see Matt Damon back in action in the upcoming action thriller, Jason Bourne. This time around, however, it seems Bourne has gathered his memories, but is now coming back ‘home,’ with the help of his one-time handler Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles returning) to gather some sort of evidence on the black ops programs under the umbrella of the government which is now faced by Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander. He could be turning over couch cushions in Langley looking for spare change for all I — and most fans, I would presume — care, so long as the series continues to deliver the no-nonsense attitude and action sequences that have reinvigorated the genre. From this first trailer, courtesy of Universal Pictures, it appears director Paul Greengrass (and Damon) haven’t lost their touch after their nine year hiatus, and are indeed delivering that and more. Check out the psyops goodness now!

Jason Bourne stars Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Tommy Lee Jones, Julia Stiles, Riz Ahmed, Ato Essandoh and Bill Camp.

Damn man, can’t he just leave well enough alone and go about his way already?

Some of the most intense fight scenes I’ve ever scene have come from the Paul Greengrass Bourne films so having him and Damon back together is exciting news.

I’m a big fan of the originals but how far can they drag this before it becomes a parody of itself?

You have to think eventually Jason Bourne and Aaron Cross will cross paths and since it isn’t likely to happen in this one there’s going to be at least ONE more….

Looks a lot like the first movies to me. Bourne killing people sent out to neutralize him and people in a control room becoming increasingly concerned Bourne is still loose.

There are few perfect actor-role matches but Matt Damon as Jason Bourne is one of them. He was born to play him and with Bourne getting his memory back it should afford Damon more range to explore in the character.
